We saw evening fireworks down at the beach on two of the nights we stayed. The location is quiet and peaceful, up in the hills, with amazing ocean views. All the staff are friendly and helpful, and the huge room has a kind size bed and several chairs. You can get breakfast, lunch, and dinner on site, or take a short cab ride elsewhere. Walking to the beach takes about 20 minutes, but the steep inclines and uneven surfaces can make it strenuous. If you head into town, be ready to take a taxi back uphill. Fantastic couples stay!

The rooms are nice, and the bay view is spectacular. The staff are extremely helpful and accommodating, always eager to please. I booked a group, and the communication before we arrived was amazing and very proactive. Liz, who’s at the front desk most days, is absolutely amazing. If you call to make arrangements, ask for Liz. She’s terrific and very, very helpful, usually there from morning until mid afternoon. Her Saturday replacement was helpful, but it wasn’t quite the same experience, not to the degree that Liz was.

The restaurant and bar were terrific, and the hotel itself was a joy. Every room has its own decor, and the staff were extremely helpful. Communication before we arrived was unmatched. It sits in a lovely, very safe neighborhood overlooking the water. I’d love to come back.

We stayed up on a hill, away from Puerto Vallarta’s busier areas, and had breathtaking sea views from our room and lots of spots around this modern, stylish hotel. The staff were so friendly and polite. The woman at the front desk, Liz? Sorry if I’ve got the spelling wrong, and the bartender especially stood out. I’d definitely recommend it to friends or family looking for a quiet stay with ocean views in the city.

The food service was painfully slow. After ordering breakfast and waiting for the bill, I could have walked to the city center and back. I ate breakfast here twice, and while it tasted good, it cost a lot more than options nearby in Zona Romantica. Even a can of Corona at 90 MXN felt steep for the area. The rooms are clean and stylish, with stunning views, and the hotel has a lovely, authentic feel and a pleasant atmosphere. The pool is fine for a quick dip, though having it inside the restaurant is an odd setup. At reception, the male staff were welcoming, communicative, and helpful. I had a very different experience with the female staff, who seemed annoyed and reluctant to help, which took away from the stay. It’s a beautiful place with great views, but expect high prices and slow service.
