The rooftop pool and hot tub are a nice bonus, and the rooms have a pleasant balcony with an ocean view. Staff were friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are simple and clean, and the AC is great. Just a heads-up, there aren’t fridges in the rooms. It can get noisy since shows, activities, and celebrations happen right nearby, but the location makes it easy to walk everywhere. A good base for a night or two while checking out downtown PV.

The rooftop was a highlight, and we could get to everything so easily. We only stayed one night, but the room was just right, very clean, and everything worked as it should. The front desk staff were nice, too. There was street noise, though it didn’t bother us much for a single night.

The new rooms and clean sheets were a plus, and the location is safe and handy for getting to Centro and Zona Romantica. There’s an Oxxo and a CitiBanamex ATM downstairs, with plenty of places to eat nearby. Even so, after six days here, my friend and I left feeling this was a “never again” stay. I couldn’t recommend it in good conscience. The shower was the worst part. We had no hot water for most of the visit. On our first night, the receptionist said to turn the knob again and let it run for five minutes. Ten minutes later it was still cold, and it only got barely lukewarm after half an hour. There was no maintenance person available at night. Someone came the next morning and got warm water going for a while, but by evening it was cold again. This kept happening through the stay, and we complained at least six times. We figured out that lukewarm, not hot, water was only available for brief periods in the morning, then cold the rest of the day. We told the staff this was unacceptable. Noise was another issue. Road sounds from Calle Juarez can be a lot, and the church bell rings every 15 minutes, as well as on the hour overnight. Bring earplugs if you want to sleep. The bed was firmer than a new leather couch, and the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned very well before we checked in. For a brand-new hotel, it felt like things were put together quickly and cheaply. There’s no sound insulation facing outside, the bathroom window has black cloth instead of frosted glass, and the two-bed room could use more towel hooks. There are no racks or holders for toiletries in the shower, either. Staff messaged us on WhatsApp well ahead of time asking for half the payment, saying otherwise they couldn’t guarantee our stay. I paid the rest on check-in day. The room was ready, but my friend, who arrived an hour and 20 minutes early, was still asked for 500 pesos for early check-in. At least some staff tried to help. The young male receptionist seemed indifferent and kept playing with his phone while supposedly assisting us.

The room was decent and clean, and the location is great. But I asked about the hot water several times, and the male receptionist didn’t seem bothered. He kept saying “maybe later,” then “maybe tomorrow,” and the water stayed cold. I don’t remember this hotel being cheap, so having no hot water makes no sense. If hot showers matter to you like they do to me, I wouldn’t recommend it. If you care more about being in a convenient spot, you could give it a try. I’d consider it.

The rooms have been renovated and are comfortable, and you’re right by all the activity in this part of PV. That also means they can be quite loud, since you’re so close to the Malecon. The first-floor kitchen was a mess, with leftover food left out and very little of the water they promised at check-in.
