Pinnacle Resorts 179 - Adults Only

I stayed at pinnacle 179 around d Memorial Day weekend, and it was a great start to summer. It's a stone's throw from all the action in ZR, but still feels relaxing. We upgraded to an ocean view corner suite and got killer views. The service was professional and polished, and the rooftop pool was a relaxing spot for drinks and sunset views.

The rooftop pool was fantastic, and the bar staff were friendly and engaging. When we arrived, someone greeted us at the door and walked us through check-in, even giving us a nice cold bottle of water :) The room was cleaner and better set up than we expected. The bed was comfortable, the shower was the best I've had since being in PV, and the location was the best. We'll definitely return.

We were staying here during the carter uprising on Feb. 22, when the city went into lockdown for a couple of days. We were very disappointed that management didn't do anything for guests during that time. They closed the restaurant and pool while restaurants and many stores throughout the city were also shut. We, along with others, had to scramble to find any food we could at the few small stores that remained open. Also, if you book an ocean front corner suite, be aware they may give you one with a balcony facing the 180 resort. That view is much less nice than the other corner's ocean and city view, even though they charge the same price. To me, that's an inferior view for the same cost.

The corner room was beautiful, very clean, and came with attentive room service. Its big windows opened all the way, and room dividers kept the bed from getting too bright, which I'd been worried about. It was handy to have a toaster, microwave, stove, fridge, and washer/dryer. The adults-only place also has a rooftop bar with a beautiful view. It's on a hill, so you'll need to head downhill toward the beach, but there's a funicular going up and down until 10PM that saves you the walk. I'd definitely come back.
