Hotel Playa Fiesta

For a group trip or wedding, Playa Fiesta is an intimate, luxurious place that’s beautifully run. I can’t recommend it enough. It felt like a once-in-a-lifetime stay. Our whole group stayed together, and the private property felt like our own little paradise in Puerto Vallarta. The rooms were renovated, spotless, and really comfortable. The food was phenomenal every day, and sharing meals with an ocean view was special. The hot tub, atmosphere, privacy, and warmth of the staff made it all feel like a dream. The service was what made it unforgettable. Staff remembered our drink orders and what we liked, and often anticipated what we needed. It felt personal and effortless, and every person there stood out as among the best I’ve experienced anywhere. Lindsay was an absolute GEM of a host. I can’t understand why this place is called “3 stars.” For me, the food, room, location, and everything else made for a 5+++ stars experience.

We arrived at the hotel with all the usual wedding stress, money decisions, and unexpected problems. They took such good care of us that the stress disappeared. I’d have paid double for that level of care. The food was better than anywhere else, according to me, and all my guests were blown away. They even said we wouldn’t need to do much convincing if we wanted to celebrate our anniversary there someday. For our wedding venue, I don’t think we could’ve asked for a better place. God bless this place. I pray I can come back one day! If recent events have you worried about safety, don’t be. The hotel is in a very safe place, with amazing views every day and an almost private beach. It’s near the city, about a five-minute ride if you want to go, and I felt there was nothing to worry about. We brought our three-year-old, who was well fed and happy, and enjoyed the views every single day. Still wondering if you should go, if it’s safe, or if it’ll be the most amazing experience of your life? Yes to all of it!

The pesto chicken at lunch pretty much stole the show during our four-day stay for a friend's wedding. My girlfriend and I ordered it, and somehow the chicken was juicy and tender with lightly seared edges. The vivid green pesto smelled amazing, and even the salad was so good I hadn't expected it to be. PESTO CHICKEN FOREVER!!! The whole visit was a 5/5 for us: great food, facilities, service, and atmosphere. Tell your friends to get married here so they can try that plate too.

Playa Fiesta keeps getting better every time we come back. Our first visit was 13 years ago for our wedding, and this summer's family trip was incredible too. My kids had their own favorites: my 8-year-old said there were lots of tacos to eat, and my 4-year-old loves Charly and Nino for the smoothies and ice cream. My husband especially appreciates the staff and service. I love just about everything there, especially the remodeled big pool, the beach you can swim at, and the margaritas. Big hugs to everyone who makes Playa Fiesta what it is. I'm so glad we got married at PF and have you in our lives.
