Partial Ocean-view Suite With 3 Pools, hot Tub, spa & Balcony

The views from the 10th-floor restaurant and pools are unmatched, and we celebrated a New Year’s Eve birthday poolside. The team made it absolutely perfect. We also loved the quiet pool areas, even though our adult children, ages 23, 28, and 30, are used to typical all-inclusive vibes and didn’t mind being away from the ocean. We spent Christmas and New Year’s at Grand Miramar, and the vacation was spectacular. The staff made it special: Alam, our concierge, went above and beyond all trip; Victor (Manager) was professional and accommodating; Alberto and the bell staff were always smiling and helped with things like getting to the local pharmacy. At breakfast and dinner, Abel, Jesus, and Maria were friendly and attentive. We spent most of our time by the pool, where Sergio, Oscar, and Edgar kept up with our drinks all day and were fantastic. The food was great, though next time we might skip the all-inclusive package and use Uber to explore more dinner options in town. We have no complaints and are already planning a return. If you want excellent service and beautiful views, don’t miss this resort.

Our second-floor corner suite faced the ocean, and the unobstructed view was incredible. The hotel is a bit far from tourist activities, but I loved being away from the city. It was so quiet and serene that, even with what I think was a private event, I could only hear my own breathing. If you want a quiet, romantic vacation, this hotel is a great choice. Think white lotus without the parties. That’s why I picked it. The cobblestone road makes the drive to and from the hotel a little rough, which is expected. If that bothers you, group your activities together so you don’t have to go up and down so often. If you enjoy exploring, the walk down the road has amazing views. Everyone was friendly. Security is taken very seriously, and the place feels like a fortress at night. Even though the hotel was booked, we felt like the only guests. I forgot I was in a different time zone and called at 10pm because I couldn’t figure out the jacuzzi 🫣. Someone came right away. I can’t say enough about the service. Salvador was one of the kindest people you could meet. And the room WiFi was top tier 👌🏻👌🏻.

I was meant to check out on 2/22, but after my flight was cancelled because of the incident in Puerto Vallarta, I stayed at Grand Miramar from 2/19 to 2/27, 2026. The staff took great care of guests, and I felt safe and comfortable. The doorman and restaurant teams stood out for their dedication to guests and calmness amid uncertainty. I was also impressed by the resilience and positive spirit of the whole city of Puerto Vallarta. People recovered quickly and welcomed tourists as usual, using music and dance to overcome fire and smokes. I’ll remember Puerto Vallarta fondly.

The food was good, the rooms were nice, and the adult-only pool was calm and very pleasant. The location itself is gorgeous, but the maps make it look much closer than it is. It’s up a steep hill and not walkable from town or the beach, so it’s less convenient if you want to stay in the city or near beaches. Traveling with a group isn’t ideal unless everyone is staying here. They charge more than $50 (DOLLARS) for anybody visiting. We tried to pick something up from our room, but our friend wasn’t allowed onto the property without handing over his passport and paying, just to charge a phone. We also had a small disagreement over the cost of an excursion we booked through the hotel concierges, so it may be worth double-checking the price.
