Terraza del Mar

We rented an Airbnb villa here, and it was amazing. The balcony views were breathtaking, and the villa was very well kept, with brand new AC units. It's quiet and comfortable, close to nature, and has a pool that's currently under renovation. Restaurants and beaches are just a short walk away, and it's quite accessible from the funicular, or diagonal elevator. The staff were polite and friendly, and called a taxi for us when we needed one. It felt like a safe, peaceful, beautiful tropical getaway, or somewhere to call home.

The residents are lovely, and the heated pool is a nice touch. The bay view is lovely, and the quiet is a big advantage for this location. You can walk into town, though it's on a hill, so use the lower entrance by the pool to come and go. There's 24-hour security. Once they radio for a taxi, it takes about 2-5 minutes to arrive, and Uber is available too.

The apartments are lovely and spacious, and the staff are fairly friendly. The pool and gym look far from their best. The funicular is out of action more often than it works.

The property is falling apart, and the homeowners aren't putting any effort into maintaining it.
