The Tryst Puerto Vallarta LGBT Hotel

I really liked the hotel's range of moods. It could be relaxed or lively, but it always felt welcoming and full of good energy. If you need complete quiet all the time, this probably isn't your place. I spent plenty of time on the rooftop and had dinner in the courtyard, and both the service and food were consistently good. The staff were attentive and ready to help, whether I was upstairs or ordering room service. From the moment I arrived, I was treated warmly and with respect. The team also replied quickly to texts, which made everything feel easy and convenient.

The music drove us away from the bar area, even though the sound system itself is great. I also noticed stains on some chairs by the bar, and the furniture around the top pool made that area feel crowded. More space and a thorough upholstery cleaning would help. Still, the staff were attentive and the cocktails were among the best in the area. The atmosphere and decor have clearly had a lot of thought put into them, with sophisticated colors and details. Once you're on the property, the bustle of Puerto Vallarta outside feels far away. I've been hoping for a hotel like this here, and I think it's a great place. I'll come back.

The staff provided excellent service, and the rooms and bathrooms were very nice. The location is easy to get around from, with just about anywhere in the city walkable. There are two great pools: the second-floor one is for hotel guests, while the rooftop pool is open to the public. You get incredible views of the beach and ocean, and can see whales in the afternoons.

I've been back to this Puerto Vallarta hotel about four times, and the changes they've made along the way have all been nice. It's impeccably clean and the room service is great. The place has a fun, lively feel, though Sundays can get a bit loud with the drag show and pool party. As a 59-year-old single person, I really appreciated being made to feel welcome.
