Vallarta Sun Hotel

The pool deck was a lovely place to sit, with comfortable furniture and wide ocean views. We watched whales over coffee in the mornings, and the sunsets and one incredible full moon are memories we won't forget. The sound of the ocean was so soothing. The property sits on a cliff, so there are stairs to each apartment, though they got much easier after a few trips. The staff were attentive and always there when we needed them. Our whole stay was amazing.

We were close to Zona Romántica, which made this a great base for exploring. The little hotel is intimate and well maintained, and the refreshing pool was a fun way to meet other guests. We loved our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

We stayed in Condo 1 and Condo 4 during our vacation at Del Mar in Puerto Vallarta. Both were spacious, clean and had private balconies, with ocean views throughout the building. With only four condos, it was quiet and there was plenty of room to relax by the pool, which even has a water slide, or watch the sunset from the balcony. I love cooking, so having a full kitchen in each condo was an unexpected bonus. The staff kept the individual water coolers full and were kind, gracious and quick to communicate. Since I was traveling alone, they went out of their way to help me feel safe and comfortable, and I felt genuinely cared for.

The kitchen was small but tidy, and the AC was much appreciated during the hot, humid season. I loved the little pool area and the location was perfect. There are two or three keys to keep straight for the different doors, and it was dark when I came home at night, so I carried a tiny flashlight. I didn't need much, so service wasn't really an issue for me. Highly recommend.
