Villa Olivia Vallarta

We’ve stayed at Villa Olivia about six times, and keep finding reasons to come back. It’s one of our favorite hotels anywhere. The owners are friendly, and the water is filtered at the tap. From the 11th floor, the ocean views are spectacular, and the rooftop pool is fantastic. The hotel is about two blocks from the beach and within walking distance of the great restaurants in the Zona Romantica. We’ve tried several rooms, each with its own character, wood details, and beautiful tilework by talented Mexican artisans. The building’s architecture is stunning too. Every room we stayed in had a full kitchen and private balcony, where we’ve spent countless mornings eating breakfast and looking out at the sea. We cook a lot, and Denise would always bring us a utensil if one was missing. We’re always dreaming about being back.

We’ve been coming to Villa Olivia for years and recommend it highly. Our condo is perfectly appointed, with a breathtaking view, and Denise and her staff are delightful.

The ambience and views were great, and the staff were friendly. We loved the experience.
