We paid more than we would for similar places that included a pool and maid service, and we wouldn’t stay again. Get the full facts before booking. This business model feels set up to rip you off. These aren’t casitas, just modern, well-appointed hotel rooms, and there’s no access to the pool unless you rent the whole house above them. Don’t be misled by the promotional pictures showing a pool. There’s no kitchen, only a half refrigerator and coffee machine. There’s no room service included either. Want the room cleaned and towels changed? That’s another $25 a night. They do leave four small bottles of water outside the door every day, which, gee, thanks. No free airport transport either, though the hotel will provide it for $60 USD. Each small deck or patio has a jacuzzi, which I guess is nice, but we never used it in the PV heat. There aren’t even chairs outside, just standing room. The rooms have tasteful new furnishings, but privacy in the bathroom is poor: the glass door between the toilet and vanity is only partly frosted, and there’s no separation between the vanity and the rest of the room. There’s no exhaust fan either. The rooms are modern and tasteful despite the design flaws and lack of a kitchenette, but who wants to go to PVR without being able to lounge by a pool and have a cocktail with friends?
