The staff really made our stay. Chef Daniel, houseman Yoshi, and the two housekeepers were warm, quick to help, and attentive. Daniel's food was fresh and wonderful, from colorful breakfasts with fruit, yogurt, and granola alongside eggs, bacon, French toast, or eggs Benedict, to dinners that mixed Mexican favorites like fajitas and enchiladas with cordon bleu, mahi mahi, sushi, and more. We finished meals with homemade treats including flan, tres leches cake, churros, sundaes, and key lime pie. Villa Ventana sits on the hillside in Upper Amapas, looking over Puerto Vallarta. It's a lovely 15,000 square foot home with seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, plus a gym and media room. I actually got a few workouts in with the A/C on, and we used the media room for games and movies most nights. The infinity pool and jacuzzi look out over the ocean, and there's modern and traditional Mexican art throughout. The hand-blown dining room chandelier is gorgeous. We were lucky to visit during Dia de Los Muertos and saw the elaborate Katrina’s on the Malecon, including the 92-foot one said to be the tallest in the world. We also went to the Botanical Gardens, about a 45-minute drive away, chartered a yacht, shopped around town, and had spa services at the Villa. It's a comfortable, luxurious place for up to 14 people. We had a great time and can't wait to come back for another adventure in PVR.

We spent so much of our time enjoying the open-air areas, hanging out with friends and playing games by the infinity pool and hot tub. There was plenty of room to be together or find some space to unwind, and the whole place had a relaxing resort feel. The staff were wonderful, transportation felt safe, and they even helped us with dinner reservations. It was a great getaway, and I can't wait to return.

The team was kind and always ready to help, and the chef's cooking gave us a delicious taste of Puerto Vallarta. I loved taking a swim with the ocean and city spread out in the view. Villa Ventana Resort is in a quiet, safe part of Puerto Vallarta, and it felt like a real break from everything. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable without losing their style. Whether I was by the pool, eating a freshly made meal, or just looking out at the scenery, it all felt peaceful and indulgent. I'd recommend it to anyone after a relaxing getaway in a beautiful, secure spot.

The hillside location means a bit of a climb, but it keeps things quiet and away from the busy streets. It also gives you incredible views. From the infinity pool, the scenery seems to go on forever in daylight, and at night the old town is beautifully lit. We couldn't imagine finding a better pool view. The property is beautifully furnished, and the staff made sure we had a comfortable, enjoyable stay.
