I'm back home, and after less than 24 hours I already miss waking up to those lovely people. I hope I've spelled all the names and words right. 🫶 One thing I'd add is more native greenery. From the air, I saw the huge stretch of desert, and the place felt more like San Diego, Hawaii, or Florida than Mexico. There's a prickly pear on the flag, for crying out loud! Haha. Finish the cactus garden by the bar. I'm a cactus farmer, guys, so feel free to get in touch. Haha, or jajajah? Lol. The people working at the Conrad made a lasting impression on me. I met such a kind, thoughtful, special group. Marvin at concierge was incredible. He responded right away and put so much care into what I needed, more consideration than I've ever been blessed with. Lus greeted me at the cafe every morning with a great smile before taking my order. The restaurant and bar team were all amazing too: Santiago, Yurel, Lizabeth, and Cynthia. I chatted with everyone, including Hugo, victor, Francisco, Daniel, Gio, Leonardo, and Raphael, plus the bar, pool, and maintenance staff. I'm sorry if I missed anyone. They all kickass! Felipe drove me to Sayulita, and he's an excellent person and driver. I'd highly recommend visiting. The $150 price is steep, but lots of people can fit in the sprinters. Don't miss the beautiful people, art, handcrafted wooden items, incredible colors, and lovely garden area with a small church beside it. Buenos Dias! And many blessings!

We spent four days here and loved the laid-back, restful feel. The resort is beautiful and well cared for. Our oceanfront suite was huge, with its own plunge pool. We booked a cabana both nights, which was pricey, though the suite reservation got us a small discount. Breakfast was a buffet and came with the suite. The staff were wonderful, and we even saw whales swimming past the resort twice. If you want a really relaxing stay with great food and drinks, this place fits.

Five nights and six days went by far too quickly. The resort was lovely, clean, welcoming, warm, and right on the beach. Staff were terrific, fluent in both Spanish and English, focused on guests, and easy to reach. We tried all four restaurants, each with its own menu, so the food never felt repetitive. Even with just one restaurant, there'd be plenty to choose from. The pools were great for different moods and ages: an adults-only pool, an infinity-edge pool with a lounging area, and a kids' pool with a slide. I'd also recommend asking the hotel concierge to arrange the VIP shuttle. It was much easier and quicker than dealing with the guides outside the airport.

It gets humid at night, as you'd expect, but we still slept incredibly well. The whole stay felt like a jungle getaway, with a luxurious feel that was also kind of boutique. The location, food, and amenities were excellent, and we had no complaints. Prices for food and services run high, though that makes sense for a place like this. Dinner at codex was excellent, and I loved that kids under 12 eat free. Such a nice gesture. Everyone on staff was wonderful. A special thanks to Marysol at the kids club for making our kids feel safe and happy, and to Saul at breakfast for understanding our no-pork restrictions. Thanks to everyone for the smiles. We'll definitely be back!

We won't be coming back. The food and drink prices felt excessive for the value and experience, especially compared with similar places. I'm posting under my maiden name for privacy. The room wasn't ready at the 3:00pm check-in, and getting settled meant several trips to the front desk. We had to ask more than once for a “Do Not Disturb” sign. The shower door was broken when we arrived, though we fixed it ourselves. The TVs were dated, and the air conditioning kept running even on a conservative setting. Food and drinks were expensive across the board, and that was a main reason we wouldn't return. Breakfast for two at the buffet was $100. Beer started at $10, wine was about $20 a glass, and cocktails around $20 each. Dinner for two regularly came to $100+ for two entrées and an appetizer. Dinner required reservations, with little flexibility, which was frustrating for smaller groups. Service was uneven, especially at breakfast. Ordering at the pool was confusing. Several times at the pool bar, we were told to order through a particular server, even though the bartender was standing right there. It felt strange and inconvenient, and the servers seemed upset when we simply wanted to order at the bar. That took away from the adult pool and bar experience. We also missed the small complimentary extras we'd had at similar properties, like mini refreshments or an occasional courtesy drink. Their absence stood out given the prices. A spa manager approached us at the pool and offered 20% off a massage for the next day. When we called first thing in the morning to cancel because of sunburn, we were told there would be a cancellation fee, which hadn't been mentioned before. The spa agreed to waive it, but sorting it out was stressful. We also hadn't expected so many families and young kids around. Based on our stay, I wouldn't suggest it for a romantic or adults-focused trip.
