W Punta de Mita

The beach is beautiful, the drinks are good, and the facilities were clean and in good condition. Food was acceptable. When occupancy is high, the pool area can run short on seats. The adult-only pool is a lap pool, and weekends can get busy and loud. It’s also very kid- and pet-friendly. Room location changes the view and walk to the shore. Beach View rooms really do have a view, but they’re set back on a hill, about a five-minute walk from the beach. Lagoon rooms are closer to the water but don’t have a view. For most people, I’m not sure the view is worth paying more for. I didn’t see the Ocean Suites. I look forward to visiting Punta De Mita again and would consider the W.

For my 40th birthday we picked the W Punta de Mita, and it turned out to be the perfect place to celebrate. The spa was fantastic. We had massages and relaxed by the pools, a lovely mix of indulgence and rest. The staff, food, views, rooms, beach, pools, and cocktails were all five-star. We usually skip all-inclusive stays because the food can be repetitive and disappointing, but that wasn’t true here. The restaurants and menus surpassed what we expected. The quality, variety, and execution were impressive throughout. A special thank you to Concierge Aide Navarro and Josue Sanchez, Concierge at W Punta de Mita. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention made everything easy and memorable. The whole trip exceeded expectations, and we’ll be back.

We found the W Punta de Mita peaceful and private, with a lovely kid-friendly pool and plenty of dining options for mom and dad. We were traveling with our six-month-old, and the property suited us well. The service was outstanding, especially considering what was happening in Puerto Vallarta at the time. The grounds are unique and well kept, and the pool has beautiful views. There’s access to a clean, beautiful beach about two miles long. It was a wonderful experience.

My wife and I had a good stay, and it was a great quiet place to relax. The beach was beautiful with hardly anyone around. Rooms were good, though they could use an update. Service was mediocre, and food and drinks cost a ridiculous amount. We didn’t buy the package with alcoholic drinks, so if you’re planning on having a few each day, bring your own or be ready to spend a lot. The package might be worth it if you do get it.
