Jullybed at the EC Beach made us feel welcome throughout the stay, and she deserves recognition for her wonderful service. Jonathan, Daniel, and Iori also gave us a memorable time at Whisper. Reserve the Whisper experience if you're staying here, it was one of our trip highlights. The resort is beautiful, with excellent dining, and the customer service is what really sets it apart. We ran into an unexpected check-in problem, but management resolved it quickly and treated us with professionalism and care. Excellence Coral is lucky to have such a strong team.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite with a private pool on the second-floor terrace. The Excellence Club benefits and private pool suites are worth the cost if you can manage it. Staff seemed genuinely happy to help and responded quickly. Even over Memorial Day weekend, we didn't encounter crowds or overly drunk guests. Shows and activities were fun, especially the silent party and magic show, and there was a good range from tequila tastings to ceramic painting and black jack. We paid $80 for 30 minutes on a jet ski. The Isla Mujeres trip was a little over $120/pp, including hotel pickup, a catamaran ride, brief snorkeling, drinks, and a bagged lunch. Most restaurants take walk-ins, but book early for experiences like the hibachi show or smokehouse. Our room's hot tub took a while to fill. Maintenance said that was the maximum water pressure when the jets were off, though the shower pressure was fine. The TV remotes were a bit awkward, sometimes turning on the wrong TV or returning to the main menu without warning. Those small annoyances aside, our stay was smooth and luxurious.

Betsy at the taco stand was a delight, and Salvadore, the pool and beach concierge, was helpful and kind. Charly, our poolside waiter, seemed like the happiest guy around, and Fidel at the lobster house kept us laughing while giving great service. My wife and I had a wonderful honeymoon here. The food, service, beaches, and pools were all so good that we definitely plan to return. It really felt like a dream.

I was here for a work event, but it turned into one of the most relaxing, luxurious stays I've had. It's an easy drive from the Cancun airport. The facility is less than 18 months old, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by gorgeous landscaping. The service stood out most. Staff picked up on our needs and preferences, were friendly and helpful, and quickly handled requests. When we asked for directions, they walked us to the place. Jullybed, Charly, and Betsy took great care of us by the beach, and Levi was a wonderful bartender at the interior bar/theater/plaza area at night. I loved the food I tried, with portions just right for sampling different dishes. I'd highly recommend this resort for a vacation, celebration, or destination event.
