The spacious rooms, quiet isolated setting, and library for sitting and reading were nice. The hot springs were awesome, and the hiking was great, past the no trespassing gate that the hotel allows you through. The Temezcal was good, but not hot enough, and it costs extra. I'm giving this four stars because I'm in a good mood, though 3.5 would be more accurate. Bring your own hand towels and washcloths. They don't provide them, and the springs have a lot of Sulphur that you need to wash off. The restaurant is only open three times a day at odd hours, and should stay open all day like a resort restaurant. Rooms have no fridge or hot water kettle. General staff didn't seem to know the library is open to the public, so ask management for access. The gym was mediocre, and the pools and springs need more frequent skimming to remove people's loose hair and skin.

After climbing in Potrero Chico, we left feeling completely relaxed and ready to climb again. The water feels amazing, the setting is gorgeous, and the atmosphere is incredible. Ever, who I believe is a manager there, was really cool 😎. If you're climbing nearby, it's well worth it, a must do.

There's loads of outdoor space, including basketball courts and a walking trail, plus a playground for kids. I felt safe here, and it's a great place to get away for a few days. The thermal pools were fun, though I preferred the hot tubs since they looked cleaner. The pool sides felt a bit slimy, and I'm not sure how often the water gets changed. The sulfur smell is strong, but you can tell yourself it's good for you! It's a remote gem with an open, spacious feel. My room was simple but comfortable, with heating, AC, a sitting area, a work table, a shower, and comfy beds. It was so hot outside that the AC was needed, though mine froze solid one night. Breakfast and dinner were decent, and there's a full bar. The little library is great for relaxing, and there's also a conference room, a gym I didn't use, and a large indoor pool. You can walk up the hill at night to the observation platform, which is fun but very windy.

A great place to relax. The water has sulfur in it, which is supposed to help your health.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the thermal pools helped me relax. What really stood out was the dark sky. I haven't seen that many stars since Alaska! Check your car's gasoline before you go, because there's none available for 40 km.
