Hotel y Suites Bugambilias

Nothing worked out well for us here. The doors were practically falling apart and the rooms were in very poor shape, with no cleaning service. The pool shut early, the shower and tap water tasted salty, and the internet never worked. I absolutely do NOT recommend it.

For what they charge, I'd go to the place next door. This hotel was awful, old, smelly, and in very poor condition. The pool was dirty, and there were animals in the rooms.

The location was my favorite part. The beach is very close, shops on the corner have pretty much everything, and there are affordable places to eat nearby. The rooms were comfortable and cool. I booked a kitchen suite, which came with dishes, utensils, a water pitcher, and a refrigerator that I really needed for all the ice I used. The TV and air conditioner both worked well. The pool was kept clean and has a children's section that felt safe. Service was outstanding, and they were always attentive and kind, which made me want to return. The large suite can sleep 10 and is a great option. Hope this helps!

I hope management sees this. My siblings and I didn't enjoy our stay, and I'm never going back to Bugambilias. They made us pay up front, there was no cleaning service any day, and the photos on Google looked nothing like the hotel. The pool closed before 9 pm and seemed to open whenever they felt like it. Management is going downhill. If you need a hotel, try El Refugio next door. It's a little more expensive, but feels like a 4-star place and they don't force you to do anything.
