OYO Hotel Posada San Vicente, Huatulco

There are two restaurants an easy walk away, though the location itself is remote. The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable despite being poorly furnished. The staff accommodated me well despite the language barrier, as I don’t speak Spanish. Good value.

The staff are very helpful with finding food and other things in town. There’s also a mini market at reception for water and snacks. Rooms come with different bed setups, from a single family bed to double or even triple beds in one room. Each has AC, TV, Celine fan, wardrobe, free Wi-Fi, and a small table set. It’s lovely, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The lowest room cost is 600MXN 😊

We live in Oaxaca and come here often. We bring our car, though you can use the taxi system. Staying just off the beach in the Pueblos works well for us. We avoid the zona hotelero, where the forerunners who aren’t in-the-know stay, and prices are ridiculous when all I need is AC and a bed. This hotel met and exceeded what I wanted. The staff were attentive and great, and it wasn’t crowded, which matters most to me.
