Hotel Villas Maria Isabel

I’m judging this based on the small room we were given, which had just one window. The location is a 15-minute walk from the beach, near a store and a couple of restaurants, and surrounded by tall, high-end buildings and resorts. Sylvia and the other lady were so warm and sweet, though, and looked after us like family visitors. They did their best to help with our requests and were easy to approach. They don’t speak much English. There’s also a nice bar upstairs that isn’t operating at the moment, but looks like it could be a decent place to hang out when open.

Silvia was especially attentive and cordial, and the service was top notch. At first I was disappointed because the place looked much larger and more spacious online. The pool and villas may look small, but they were actually just right. Our villa had a kitchen, so we made breakfast and sometimes dinner. It’s a nice quiet spot away from downtown, which is about a five-minute drive and a 100-peso ride, around 5 USD. I’d recommend it if you like waking up to the smell of your own coffee brewing, and I’ll consider it next time I visit.

Sylvia was kind, efficient, and on top of everything we needed. The whole place looked nearly new, with a modern feel, good equipment, and sparkling clean rooms. For $100 pesos, you can get a very nice breakfast if you ask the evening before. It’s a good fit if you plan tours during the day and want to come back to the pool in the evening. It’s next to the big hotels.

The room was adequate, and there were lots of insects, though that’s normal. The location was great, but Adelina and Silvia stood out most. Their customer service was professional and went above and beyond. Thanks to their warm, caring help, I’ll come back.
