The pool deck has gorgeous views, the hot tub worked, and the dipping pool was refreshing. Our room was also very large and clean, with the biggest king-size bed I’ve ever seen. The staff seemed kind, and for an expensive area this was the least expensive clean place we found with such a view. It feels like a hotel that used to be beautiful but needs an investment to get its former glory back. A few things need attention. There’s no bar, although it’s listed as an amenity, and the room didn’t look like the photo. There was no safe, and the balcony slider pinched my husband’s fingers because it had no handle. When I closed the shower door, the screw holding its bar came off; I found it and put it back. One of the water temperature knobs also came off, though I was able to reattach it. Bring food and drinks to keep in the fridge, and plan ahead.

I wish I’d enjoyed this stay more. The hotel is in a great spot for the views, and the neighborhood felt safe and was fairly clean. The pool was nice too. Our room was pretty unremarkable, the shower wouldn’t drain, and the pillows were uncomfortable. Wi-Fi access was limited. Noise traveled easily, and a group of drunk people stayed in the lobby until 3 a.m. We could hear everything.

We had a fantastic time at the Mondavi. Cesar and Sergio deserve a special mention, they went out of their way to make our stay feel extra special. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, including a big fridge and kitchenette. The balcony view was the first thing to wow us, and the rooftop pool had an equally amazing outlook. Thank you!

We got a lot of space for the price, with large suites and great views. Staff service was good, and Sergio was the only staff member who spoke English. We relied on translation apps a lot, but everyone was patient and helpful while we communicated. The hotel is older and could use upgrades and renovation. Our balcony Jacuzzi never heated up, the rooftop pools are tiny, and the main pools weren’t working.

We had a two-bedroom, two-bathroom place with a full kitchen, a spacious balcony, and incredible views. The location was quiet, and the staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay. The main drawback is how little there is within easy walking distance.
