The rooms were fabulous and CLEAN, with good water pressure and hot showers. I appreciated having a heated pool at last, and the room was cleaned carefully and competently. There was expansion construction going on, but they clearly disclosed the hours of noise when I booked and gave a generous discount. The value was very reasonable.

The rooms were clean and had AC, the pool was great, and the service was excellent. The main street is three blocks away on foot. Since it was rainy season, flooding blocked the streets because there is no sewer system, but taxis were a big help.

A surprisingly quiet place right beside the highway, about a 10 minute walk from Main Street. The room had a table, counter, sink, microwave and mini fridge, and the pool setup lets people have their own section without bothering other guests. There's no breakfast, which was my only issue. Construction on the third floor was underway, but they were upfront about it while booking and even offered a special price deal for the inconvenience.

The older lady who cooked was attentive and friendly, and the slim morning receptionist was welcoming and helpful. The afternoon receptionist wasn't as friendly, looked at us differently, and didn't explain the pool hours or anything else. We were told the pool closed at 9, but other people stayed out past 11. The bathroom smelled horrible, and after we reported it to the afternoon receptionist, nothing was done, so we kept the door shut the whole time we were in the room. The AC and lights only worked if we were in the room with the card in the right holder, which meant it was really hot when we got back. I won't stay there again, but thanks to the cook and the morning receptionist for making us feel welcome.
