The adjoining door meant I could hear everything from the next room, and the front desk service wasn’t great either. The food was disappointing too. In Mexico, I expected more flavor. The place needs updating, and for the price I wouldn’t recommend it.

The staff were excellent, and the beach was so close, about 30 feet from our patio. The food was disappointing, though. During our three weeks there, I would have liked even one meal with roast beef or turkey carved for us. Renovation work started at 6 AM right beside one of our bedrooms, so sleeping in wasn’t an option.

The beach is calm and nice, though the sand was littered. There was so much trash that it was hard to walk ten steps without finding plastic. The atmosphere could use more variety too. Reggaeton all day got annoying, and they need better music. The place itself is cozy, quiet, and pleasant, even if some remodeling could make it more attractive. It’s quite affordable for a weekday trip. The food wasn’t gourmet, but it was amazing for what it was, especially the fish, shrimp, and flan.

The two bright spots were the lovely women who cleaned our room and the bartender Bralio’s delicious Michelada. The food was only passable, with no seasoning, and the beach section wasn’t clean, so we had to watch where we stepped. Our tub leaked along the side and kept the bathroom floor wet. We stayed from 02/16/22 - 02/20/22. The front desk ladies were disrespectful and gave us attitude over a simple reservation question. They overcharged us, explained why a day later, then said they couldn’t fix it. We had to use other channels to finally get their mistake reimbursed.
