There was makeup on the restroom door, and for some reason there were hairs all over the room floors. Apart from that, the place was really clean and in a great location.

The good parts: complimentary food was tasty, the price was decent, and the hotel is within walking distance of the beach and bars. The room had AC, with good water pressure and hot water. The place is a bit run down, though, even allowing for it being in Mexico. Parking is limited, there’s no elevator despite a third floor, and there’s no mini fridge. You have to ask the front desk for an iron, and there’s no blow dryer. The shower made a pounding noise when turned on, and drained so slowly that water filled the pan. The hot tub wasn’t hot at all and was dirty.

The room was well kept, the pool clean, and the location was the best part. It’s about a 10-minute walk to everything you’d want to see or do in downtown Rosarito. Customer service was great from the front desk, security, housekeeping, and pretty much everyone working there. My only complaint was the noise on my last night. The neighbors in connected room 227 came in around 3 AM, drinking and talking, and it felt like they were right in our room. There was no sound reduction at all. Room 227 could use better soundproofing.

The room was nice, and the maids were professional and very kind. The free breakfast was just okay, so we didn’t eat there again. Everything else was great.
