Native Residence

The room and its view were incredible, and the housekeeping and breakfast ladies were so kind. My sister and I even arranged massages in our room. The resort was empty then, so we had them on the balcony. Uber Eats doesn't deliver up there, but Carlos helped us find dinner and brought it over when his shift began. He's always attentive and amazing. This is our new go-to when we want to get away from the city, disconnect, and relax.

We felt relaxed throughout our stay at Native Residence. The suite was spotless, lovely, and comfortable, and the whole property is beautiful and very well cared for, with thoughtful touches all over. Between the peaceful outdoor spots and the shared areas, it made for a great getaway. We'd happily recommend it and can't wait to return.

We needed somewhere at the last minute, booked through hotels.com, and check-in and check-out were both easy. The room was cute, comfortable, and had everything we needed for the night. There's fresh water at the main office and an honor bar with drinks. Great view, easy stay. ¡Gracias!

The route was a hassle. Google Maps sent us through small neighborhoods and up a very steep hill that was barely drivable. We eventually stopped following it and worked out another way ourselves. I'd preview the full drive before setting out instead of relying on GPS. Room 6 had some serious privacy and comfort problems. A window in the shower, around waist height, looks onto the walkway to Cabin number four, with no built-in cover. There's also an uncovered porthole in the main bedroom, so sunlight woke us at 6 AM after we'd stayed up late. There was no fridge and no nightstands beside the bed, either. The Jacuzzi is communal, but the room listings show it under each room's amenities, which could make it seem private. The owners should clarify that. Getting to the rooms also means climbing what felt like four or five stories of stairs. It wasn't an issue for us, though it could be for some guests. The views are beautiful and the cabins are cool, so I might stay at Native Residences again, just not in Room 6. If these issues were fixed, it could easily be a five star stay.
