Posada Buda Tortuga

I found this place while out walking on my day off and wanted somewhere to relax. The day pass got me a wonderfully laid-back day. There’s a great pool and a lovely area to unwind, plus the food was more than okay. The cover includes pool use, inflatable mattress beds, and food, so it’s great value. They also have good wifi and places to work. HIGHLY recommend, incredible value!

The food at the restaurant was delicious and exceeded what we expected, and the location is beautiful and exceptionally clean. Alberto, the owner, was incredibly kind and attentive. Fernando, Lady, and Mimi were always friendly and helpful, and did their best to make sure we had a fantastic stay in Mazunte. We felt like part of the family. When we left a hat behind in our room, they helped find it and sent it on to our new hotel in Puerto Escondido. That was outstanding. We spent two days here and had the kind of beach stay you dream about: roll out of bed, hang by the freshwater pool, sip mexcalitas on the beach, then jump into the sea. The hotel is a unique little boutique place that opens right onto the beach, and the staff are so friendly. It’s one of the most special places I’ve stayed. Do it!

You can stay at this hotel or just come by for a drink, some food, and a comfortable place to rest. The service is excellent, and the day mattresses are really comfy. The view is the best. You’ll be happy here :)
