Posada Paloma

We loved the egg quesadillas and chilaquiles, and the fruit plate with yogurt, granola, and honey is worth getting too. There’s a great spread of fresh fruit, juices, and breakfast favorites made with really fresh ingredients. The portions are generous, the service is great, and the garden has a lovely jungle feel. My favorite breakfast spot in San Agustinillo! 💙

The courtyard is beautiful, and the coffee and juice were fabulous. Prices were extremely reasonable, too. I stayed here and would highly recommend it. I tried the Huevos al gusto, Plato de frutas del día, and Huevos Turco, and everything was fresh and delicious. Service was quick and very friendly.

I left before my scheduled checkout because one employee repeatedly made unwanted advances. When I turned him down, he became hostile, and I felt unsafe. I wouldn't recommend staying here, especially if you're a woman traveling alone. The room had no air conditioning or mosquito nets, and when the power went out, nobody helped. Communication was difficult because very few staff spoke English. The place was clean, and most of the staff were friendly, but the stay was disappointing overall. Also, if you charge food, drinks, or other expenses to your bill, they add 5% to the credit card charge. I don't understand all the positive reviews.

We got coffees, fresh fruit juice, an egg quesadilla, and hot cakes. Both dishes came in generous portions with delicious fresh fruit. Such a lovely courtyard to have breakfast in. A must while you're in San Agustinillo!
