Hotel Casa Real

The photos look great and the location seems perfect, but I couldn’t get in touch with the hotel. I called several times and emailed more than once, with no response at all. I can’t say what the hotel is like.

I spent five nights in the master suite. Casa Real is gorgeous, the customer service is amazing, and the location is unbeatable if you want to try local food and the top dance clubs. Those are definitely worth checking out. I’d have given five stars if drinking water were easier to get. Each time you ask at the lobby, you only get a couple of small bottles. A dispenser somewhere in the hotel would solve that. The rooms could also be quieter. Even in the master suite, the restaurant music comes through clearly, and for some reason it gets much louder in the afternoon. That makes it hard to work from the room or take a nap.

The room was roomy and the bed was comfortable, with excellent prices. Best of all, it’s on the same street as all the bars.

We had a fantastic stay, and the rooms were lovely. The photos don’t really capture how much we liked the hotel. Breakfast from the buffet was delicious, and the waiters were very attentive. There were a couple of small details they should sort out: they couldn’t give me the Wi-Fi password, and the TV couldn’t pick up a single channel because they had no spare terrestrial antenna. They said all the antennas were in use. We didn’t really need the TV, but these details deserve more attention.
