We loved the river views and the quiet jungle setting at Las Haditas. After staying in several places around Chiapas, this was our favorite. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the A/C and ceiling fan kept things cool without being noisy. Room service came daily, and there was a beautiful kitchen and dining area stocked with everything. Coffee and water were provided. The whole property had a relaxed, elegant feel, and the owner clearly cared about cleanliness and quality. There were beautiful views around every corner. Sergio gave us helpful suggestions for restaurants and transportation nearby, and arranged a private boat tour. The canyon boat rides are just a two-block walk away. I really appreciated the care, communication, and setting. It’s a great place to stay in Tuxtla if you want a quiet jungle retreat with river views and easy access to the canyon boats and airport.

You can really relax here, and the views and location are wonderful. I loved the place. The food and drinks were delicious, and the service was very good.

Great spot for putting on any kind of event.

The place I chose for my wedding caused us a lot of trouble, so keep this in mind if you’re considering holding yours there. The venue didn’t honor the contract we signed for 2025. They charged us the 2026 rate for the extra hour, even though our agreement listed a different price. The fabric structure for my civil ceremony was filthy, covered in what looked like mud, not just a couple of stains. When we raised it with the person we paid, she said it was cleaner on the other side and we could turn it so it wouldn’t show in photos. They offered no real fix. We had to arrange another gazebo at the last minute. They did refund us, but it shouldn’t have been on us to seek money back for a cleaning problem with a service paid for separately from the venue. There were also a lot of problems during the event. We asked three times for the candles in my centerpiece to be lit. Only the one on table 1 was, because the younger waiter happened to notice. We gave them 100 candles, they lit 4, and didn’t return the rest. The person meant to help with the service was no help. As the bride, I had to go find her because she ignored us when we called. We brought 4 kilos of chili-coated peanuts, but some weren’t accepted and weren’t returned. They gave me a case of beer without a bottle. On another occasion they gave me an empty wine bottle, then took it too. The decorative glasses I brought were never given back. At dinner, my husband had to order our dishes himself or we wouldn’t have eaten. Some guests were turned away because staff asked them for their passes. They should have checked with us first instead of making our guests feel bad, especially since we were paying. They also refused to let us use the restroom. I understand there are schedules, but people still had a basic need, and I think some empathy would help guests have a good experience and consider holding their own events there. They had also been tipped. After the wedding, we called to clear things up and collect what had been left in the hall. The woman denied everything, said it had all been returned, then stopped responding. When we asked for the owner’s number, she refused to give it to us. If you don’t want to spend the wedding and the days after arguing over what you paid for and what you were meant to receive, I wouldn’t recommend this venue.

The place itself is nice, but the girl’s customer service attitude was terrible. She answered rudely, and it made us not even want to ask questions. Honestly, that put us off using their services or booking the venue for our event.
