Hotel Hacienda Flamingos

The courtyard and pool are beautiful and peaceful, and it’s only a short walk to the square and several nice places to eat. We’ve stayed here twice, thirteen years apart, and it’s still a favourite. There’s history everywhere, along with lovely architecture that gives it a distinctive feel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The beds are a bit hard, though we found that at most hotels we stayed in. Highly recommend.

It has its own atmosphere and is comfortable, with a good price for what you get. The main places in San Blas are all within walking distance. A very good hotel to stay at.

We only stayed one night and wished we’d booked more. It’s an old hacienda style hotel with lots of history, just a couple of blocks from the town plaza. Breakfast was included. Check-in went smoothly, and it was easy to buy beer from the cooler. Room 14 was comfortable and very clean. There’s a nice garden and outdoor pool. Can recommend it.

The historic theme works well in this very old hacienda that’s been converted into a modern hotel. The inner courtyard and pool are well maintained, and the service is very friendly. It’s a great place to relax, only two blocks from the central plaza and one block from the tourist wharf, where sightseeing and whale watching boats are available at reasonable prices. In my opinion, it’s the best hotel in this seaport village, and the price is very reasonable.
