The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and there’s a good kitchen for making your own food. Kerstin and Carlos are wonderful hosts who give you the attention and information you need to make the most of your stay. It’s a lovely spot to relax between exploring the city and nearby area, and a great pick if you’re traveling on a budget.

The garden is a lovely place to sit and chat late into the evening, and it’s easy to meet other travelers here. The staff are fun and helpful with directions, and breakfast is included, with something different each morning. I had an omelet, muesli with yogurt and fruit, and baked goods. The Zocolo may look a bit far away, but it’s only about a five-minute walk, and the market and other nice places are nearby.

The shared bathroom and shower serve all the rooms, and this is a simple place rather than a fancy one. Still, the common areas are pleasant, and the rooms are quaint, clean, and comfortable. It feels more suited to adventurers than the average tourist, but I thought the experience was well worth it. The eco-cabins are the biggest charm, though they can get a little chilly, so come prepared.

The decor and atmosphere are really cool, and the place was comfortable at a good price. They have what you need for a pleasant stay, and the service was excellent and very friendly.
