It was a bad experience for our group of six, who had booked as part of a tour. The hotel is a little outside the center, and the poor sound insulation meant we could hear cars all night. At night I also found black dust on my bed, which I think was coming from the ceiling. The cleaning service in my room was otherwise good. There was trouble over a friend's towel, too. An employee tried to charge her for it because it was dirty. I understand that might make sense if a stain, like dye, couldn't be washed out, but this was just a little sand. My friend had to wash it herself. The night before we left, we arranged a taxi to the airport for the next morning. When we heard our flight was delayed by an hour, we asked the hotel to call the taxi an hour later. They said that wasn't possible, which isn't what I've experienced in other places.

The housekeepers did excellent work, but we came away wondering whether the tips left in the room always make it to the people doing that work. It would be good for the administration to look into it.

There’s a restaurant, and the hotel has a colonial-style patio. The laundry service is a little removed from the tourist area, though it’s still reachable in about 15 minutes on foot or 5 by taxi. The rooms are cabin-style, with no way to warm them up. Depending on the season, it can get a bit cold at night. It’s a nice hotel, but for me it gets 3 stars.

My room was clean, and there was plenty of water in the shower. When I told mngr.Sarai I was cold and asked for another blanket, she went out of her way to bring me a heater as well as extra blankets. Great service from her and the staff.
