San Marcos is a block from a pedestrian street in the historic center. The staff are pleasant, and the price was good. Our room was large, warm, and well furnished, with comfortable beds. The shower worked well and had plenty of hot water. It was great value for us, and we’d happily return.

The à la carte breakfast was very good, and cost 125 pesos. This charming, well-kept hotel is a short walk from the very center of town, and makes a perfect base for nearby excursions. The rooms are clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed.

The location is great, with Andador Guadalupe and the old area within walking distance, along with churches, museums, bars, and restaurants. The guest service was attentive, friendly, and helpful. We stayed downstairs, so I didn’t go up, but the first floor is stunning. I loved the antique colonial decor, and the pictures really match what you get, right down to the flowers and the way the light falls. I had a king-size bed that was comfortable and warm enough. The shower was great, with hot water and good pressure. I’d stay there again.

The hotel is in the historic district, close to lots of attractions and places to eat. It’s one of the prettiest and most interesting hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were very nice, and the rooms were clean and lovely, with an 18th-century feel.

Most sights in San Cristobal are within walking distance. The hotel is cozy and modern with a historic touch, and its interior is very clean and impressive. It also has its own restaurant. Highly recommend!
