Desert Inn San Ignacio

I stopped here overnight during a motorcycle trip. The rooms are quiet, clean, and spacious, though there aren't many power outlets, so choose what needs charging. The WiFi is slow and the TV reception was spotty. There's a convenience store across the street, and a short walk takes you into town for dining and shopping, as well as to the beautiful mission and town square.

We only stayed one night and didn't eat at the hotel, though after reading other reviews, I'd be willing to try the food. The pool was clean, and there's free parking, friendly staff, and 24-hour security. Our double-bed room had coffee, water, soap, shampoo, and a TV; the WiFi was slow. It was spacious, quiet, clean, serene, and comfortable, with a hot shower and good pressure. The rates were great, and the Mission and town square are less than a ten-minute walk away. Five stars from me for the hospitality, cleanliness, amenities, and location.

This was our second stay here on a motorcycle trip, and I'd recommend it. There's a little market within walking distance where you can buy beer. They also let us park our bikes behind a locked gate, with access through the front desk.

We loved staying here even though the internet was awful. They really should improve the WiFi coverage. The Mission is an easy walk away, and there's free parking. The architecture is cute, the rooms are nicely designed, the A/C worked seamlessly, and the prices were fair. It's Mexican government-owned.
