The owners made the place feel like home, and I loved hearing their stories over breakfast about how they came to this surfers' paradise when they were young. I found myself looking forward to another chapter each morning. The coffee was wonderful, and the breakfasts were made to order. On a quiet stretch of beach, we could watch beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Our five days at Casa Costa Azul were deeply relaxing, and leaving was hard. We found this family-run boutique hotel while looking for a peaceful place to stay in Cabo for a family wedding. Animals had wandered onto the property and stayed; our host Kristina cares for them with a deep love of animals and nature, and they've become part of the family too. If you want a real getaway from the mega-resorts, with a simpler, more meaningful pace of life in a beautiful spot, Casa Costa Azul is a great choice.

This family-built, owned, and operated hotel makes you feel at home. Guest comfort comes first, and it feels like having your own beach home by the ocean. The family has an amazing story behind the place, so ask them about it. It's a beautiful, quiet 15-room boutique eco hotel right on the beach. They water the plants with recycled grey water, and the fresh breakfast changes daily. There's also a buffet with fresh coffee, tea, oatmeal, cut fruit, toast, yogurt, and fresh-squeezed juice, not the nasty store-bought kind. The property is lovely, and there's a pool and hot tub too. Bars and restaurants are a few minutes' walk away, while downtown and the arts district are about 6-7 minutes away, and Uber works here. It's an ideal spot to unplug and unwind, and enjoy what Los Cabos has to offer. We absolutely love it and keep coming back to this as our go-to in Los Cabos.

We came across this place at the last minute and are so glad we did. The family who owns it is warm and kind, and their hospitality made us feel at home. We stayed for a week, which flew by. We've already got plans to return next year, maybe sooner.

That personal touch was special, and I'd recommend it to anyone after a quiet, authentic, traditional stay. Hotel Casa Costa Azul sits right on a beautiful beach. The design, attention to detail, and comfort were unlike any hotel I've stayed at in Mexico or anywhere else. The rooms and grounds were immaculate. We had the best vacation here and can't wait to return. I'm so glad Casa Costa Azul still exists in the area.
