Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort

The pools were lovely, and there were lots of activities if you wanted a break from them. The resort is beautiful, with comfortable rooms, good food, and an amazing location. It is expensive, and seating larger groups in the restaurants can be challenging. Once staff knew we were a group, they worked to get us seated promptly. Everyone was very helpful, checking in on us and doing their best to meet our requests. I had a great stay and would highly recommend it.

We had a great five-day, four-night stay and already miss the place. The location, restaurants, service, and staff were all great. Everyone worked hard and was very polite, and there was plenty to do. I'd happily visit again and recommend it for a getaway or even a corporate event. Bring a couple of multi-outlet adapters, though, since there was just one outlet for all our electronics.

The food was a highlight for us: Market Cafe was especially good for breakfast and lunch, Portofino was our favorite dinner, and Oceana was fine. We stayed in a Preferred Ocean View room and felt the added cost was worth it. Preferred guests also get access to a bar and mini restaurant, which was a nice extra. I didn’t mind the room, though I’m on vacation and don’t spend much time in it, so I don’t really relate to complaints that it feels dated. What stood out most was the service. Every person we met was incredibly kind and attentive. By the pool, a waiter was always ready to bring food and drinks, and the restaurants were just as good. My girlfriend and I had a memorable dinner thanks to Christian at Portofino, who went above and beyond. Francisco also made the pool activities fun. We did water aerobics and volleyball, and he kept everyone laughing with a smile the whole time. I agree with Robert’s review below. If you want a quiet, adults-only all-inclusive with good food and a drink always close by, this place is a great fit. My girlfriend and I are already looking forward to returning. Five stars from us.

We visited in January 2026 and really enjoyed this lovely resort. Even though we arrived well before check-in, the staff quickly got us into our room. They were so accommodating throughout our stay. We loved the setting for taking it easy and enjoying the views. On our first night, champagne arrived as a surprise, just in time to sip on the patio at sunset. The bars and restaurants had excellent service, and the tableside Mexican coffee at Patio was a favorite. We also had a lot of fun on the activities, especially the bike tours with Susana and Fernando and the art walk with Delmar.
