Costa Brava feels different from the resorts to the north and south. As I understand it, the homes in this subdivision are individually owned. One owner invited us for a week, so I don’t know whether any are available to rent. From our place, we had a great ocean view and in October occasionally saw whale blowholes and fins. There’s gated access to the beach, though I’m pretty sure it isn’t safe for swimming because the waves were rough. Most homes seem to have driveways, so renting a car may be an option. We used Uber to get to San Jose and Cabo San Lucas, each about 12 km or 8 miles away. Drivers often had trouble finding the entrance because there’s no sign, so we met them at the top of the hill.

There were five of us on a great family vacation. We were only minutes from the action, with a private beach, hot tub, pool, and more. Having a private chef and a complimentary massage made it a fantastic experience.

At Villa Costa Brava we had gorgeous views and a beautiful beach. There was some construction nearby, but it wasn’t loud.
