Zadun Los Cabos, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve

The rooms were spacious and beautiful, and the bed and pillows were so soft and comfortable that we tried to find out where to buy them for home. Service was quick and wonderful, with everyone so kind and gracious. This was my fifth trip to Los Cabos, and of all the resorts I've stayed at, this one was the best. I've visited plenty of Ritz Carlton hotels, but this was my first Reserve property, and now I'd like to see them all. It's about a 45-minute drive to downtown, which is the one drawback, though we knew the location was more secluded and it didn't bother us much. For a quiet, relaxing resort, this place is perfect. Can't wait to return!

We were welcomed like family, treated like property owners rather than visiting guests, and received enthusiastic, selfless care around the clock. We've stayed at exclusive hotels around the world, and the personal service from Edgar, Jesus, Daniel, and the whole Zadun a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, San Jose Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico TEAM is why this property ranks among our top destinations. This was our second visit, and it certainly won't be our last. Thank you for making it so special and memorable.

The gym was very good, lightly used, and we went every day. All three restaurants, El Barrio, Candil by the beach, and Humo, were comfortable and very good. My ceviche at Candil was outstanding. We also liked mixing in meals in San Jose de ‘Caro’, the joke there for Spanish speakers. Limo and Sage, owned by the same people, are worth a visit, as is LaLupita for its killer mescalitos, great band, excellent tacos, and fun vibe. Uber was easy to use. This is a beautifully appointed five-star resort, with efficient check-in and a personal concierge. Ours was Ari from Toscanos, who was always willing to help, though we didn't need much. If prices are a concern, this probably isn't the place for you. Adios.

Stephanie and Genesis, our Tosoani, made a real difference with their warmth and expertise. We also appreciated Adan at Equis, Margarita at El Barrio, Jared and Adriana at Humo, David at Candil Bar, and Angel, Hector, and Leonardo by the pool. Across the resort, everyone from the front desk to the gardeners seemed professional and proud of their work. The restaurants stood out for creative menus, careful presentation, and consistently well-prepared food. Equis, El Barrio, Humo, and Candil Bar each gave us a memorable meal and attentive service. We also loved the peaceful, luxurious feel of the grounds and our beautifully appointed, spotless room, which felt like a private retreat. The landscaped pools offered places to unwind as well as lively service when we wanted it. Zudun, A Ritz‑Carlton Reserve, gave us an extraordinary stay. The accommodations, food, grounds, and thoughtful staff all came together so well. I highly recommend it and look forward to coming back.
