The rooms, sheets, and bathrooms were clean, the hotel has great style, and some rooms and the roof terrace look out toward the Big Monolito. It’s an easy walk down to the hart of town, and the people were just as great as the view. Panchito, Arturo, and the lady whose name I never got gave us a warm welcome. I’d stay again next time I come to say hi to the Big boy. It’s a great location for a down-to-earth traveler who respects the people, and even if you’re searching for diamond, you won’t be disappointed. Just be patient with the internet in the room. In The Town of La Peña de Bernal, the Big Monolito and the people make for a GREAT experience. Para todos los Paisanos es un Lugar espectacular BBB con mucha clase.

Both people in charge were very friendly, and the place is fine if you just need somewhere to sleep. But I was cold all night, even across my forehead. The beds are right by the window, so they should add blankets or comforters, put in heating, or at least recommend which beds to choose. Also, the room photos showed a view of the cliff, but the room I paid for had a view of the garden. They should be honest about which room they're showing.

The terrace is the highlight, with a view of the Peña that’s great during the day and for the nighttime light show. The location is very good, and the staff were quite friendly. I was only there one night, so I didn't get to see everything or eat there. Parking is tight, with room for only four cars, so you may need to leave yours outside. The street is dark, though it seemed safe to me. Better lighting would help, even if that’s up to the city council. Recommended.

You can enjoy Peña de Bernal from every terrace, and it’s the best view of the Peña in town. The hotel is small, charming, and picturesque, with excellent service from the owners and impeccable cleanliness. It’s also very close to town.
