Hotel San Francisco

We found the price very affordable, and booking directly by phone instead of through Booking made a big difference for us. The location is perfect, about a 10-minute walk from the center of Bernal, so it's nearby without the noise of the more central hotels. The service was excellent, and the place was comfortable and clean.

We've stayed here three times and plan to come back. The room was plain but clean and comfortable, and the terrace is lovely. It's near the city center, and the staff are friendly and provide what you need, though sometimes the gas runs out. They welcome pets, including our quiet dogs. The manager even let them play while fireworks were going off so they wouldn't get scared. Cost: 4.5/5. Service: 5/5. Amenities: 5/5. Pet friendly: 5/5.

The parking is covered, they accept cards, and they kept our reservation even though we didn't leave a card. The rooms are excellent, and the hotel is only a few blocks from the city center, which can save you a lot of gas. The photos online made the place look like it might not be very comfortable, but it exceeded my expectations. My one complaint is the noise: the rooms are upstairs above the open parking lot, so you hear every car movement. Still, I have to admit it didn't stop us from sleeping. The service overall was excellent.
