We chose this Airbnb because it was close to Tequis and much cheaper than hotel rooms there. The gated property has plenty of outdoor parking, and checking ourselves in was quick and easy. The room was a good size, and there was courtyard space outside where I could exercise. Having a shared kitchen was a real bonus for keeping drinks cold and heating up food. We liked it enough to add another night, and we'd happily return.

The apartment-style layout suited us well, and the place had all the amenities we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. The nearby town is sleepy, with not much going on, but still pleasant. There's a mine fairly close by that's well worth visiting. Just be ready for MOSQUITOS absolutely everywhere, I mean everywhere. You've been warned!

We've stayed here several times and will definitely return. The rooms are sparkling clean, the hosts are attentive, and it's very quiet and peaceful. There are nice outdoor areas to relax, plenty of parking on the property, and a full kitchen guests can use. It's also easy to find and accepts well-behaved dogs.

We booked through Airbnb and had been messaging the host regularly. Her profile asked for check-in by 8:00 pm, but she initially said her husband Bernardo could greet us around 10 pm. When unexpected traffic and numerous tolls delayed us, she changed her mind. At about 9:50 pm, just ten minutes before we would have arrived, she told me to cancel the reservation. She wouldn't cancel it herself, which made it much harder for me to ask Airbnb for a refund. This happened in February 2019.
