I paid $500 pesos for a room with two beds for two people and two dogs, which was a great deal. The place isn’t much to look at from outside, but it’s inexpensive and good for resting before carrying on with a trip. The receptionist was a little gruff but nice, and let me in with my two dogs, so you could call it pet-friendly. Not for snobs, rich kids, or spoiled brats, though. You have to be a tough guy willing to wrestle with the mattress springs.

The room was roomy, clean, and comfortable, with a vintage look. There was hot water too. A great place if you're traveling by sea.

It’s quiet and inexpensive, and this hotel has its own character compared with other places. People complain about the provincial feel, probably because it’s outside the city. If they’re after something more upscale, they could choose Fiesta Inn, Ibis, Americana, or another 5- or 6-star hotel. This place’s affordability deserves some appreciation.
