Zar San Luis Potosi

The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was really tasty. Service was very good, though the floors could use a better cleaning.

There is no restaurant or food here! After a long day driving, I was hungry and expected to grab something at the restaurant, but they suggested Uber Eats or Rappi. Another guest was trying that too, but most places wouldn't deliver here. There's an OXXO close by, though the area around it feels pretty sketchy. I booked because I needed a pet-friendly hotel, and there is a small grassy patch at the back. Nobody mentioned it until later in my stay. The TV didn't work, though the AC did. I almost couldn't bring myself to get into bed because I really doubt the sheets were clean. I won't use the shower. The breakfast wasn't worth the price either. I paid the same amount at a hotel in Monterrey the night before and got a buffet with lots of options. Here, it was one plate. Also, the morning staff were not nice at all.

We were traveling with two cats and were glad to find a place in San Luis Potosi that would take them for a very reasonable fee. The room was clean and comfortable, and the receptionist was so helpful. My Expedia reservation wasn't showing in their system, but she took the time to get us checked into a room.

The online listing said pets were welcome and didn't mention any extra charge. When we got there, they told us it would be $280p per pet. The hotel is in an industrial area, with barbed wire along the back and security that didn't seem good. We decided not to stay.
