Casa Árbol Hotel

The two guys on the 24-hour front desk were always friendly, helpful, and efficient. My room was cleaned promptly every day, and I appreciated the two fresh bottles of water. The only thing I’d suggest is a bedside lamp, since I had to get out of bed to turn off the lights. I know, first world problems. This restored colonial hotel was delightful, and I couldn’t have been happier with my week there. It’s on a quiet residential street, peaceful at night, but near plenty of good restaurants and bars. The Parrochia is about a 10-minute walk away. There’s a small lounge by the front desk on the ground floor, with the rooms upstairs, and free secure parking in the attached courtyard. My room had a very comfortable queen bed, lovely stained glass windows, and a large TV I never switched on. The shower is in a large soaking tub, with nice toiletries provided. I’m not sure the tub is usable for soaking, but I didn’t ask or try. Some rooms have terraces with tables and chairs. Everything was very clean. There was no a/c, though I doubt you’d need it, since the screened windows can let in a cross breeze. I can’t wait to come back now that I know my way around SMA.
