Casa Quebrada Hotel Boutique

Casa Quebrada’s rooftop is a lovely place to watch the sun set over the cathedral, with a drink in hand and a breeze coming through. The courtyard birdsong in the morning is just as memorable and made for a peaceful start to the day. The hotel is right in downtown San Miguel, so I could walk to the historic center, shops, galleries, cafés, and restaurants without needing a taxi. My room was immaculate, beautiful, and calm, and I was happy to come back to it after exploring. The hotel also has an amazing Mediterranean restaurant, which made it easy to get great wine, Greek salad, Gyro, and fresh fish. Service was quick and responsive, and the staff brought extra room keys or ice on request. There’s a proper coffee maker, reliable hot water, strong water pressure, and large, soft towels. They also provide premium bottled water every day at no extra charge, which I appreciated. Prices seemed surprisingly fair for this level of comfort and service. If you’re planning to stay in San Miguel de Allende, Casa Quebrada is a great walkable option with thoughtful details and a memorable atmosphere.

The location was especially convenient, with dining and drinks just steps away and everything else within walking distance. One thing to keep in mind is that Hotel Casa Quebrada has no elevator. If stairs are difficult for you, contact them ahead of time about a ground-floor room. They were accommodating and happy to help. I found the staff warm and attentive, and the whole place was clean and well cared for. The rooms have comfortable beds, air conditioning, fully equipped bathrooms, a safety box, and a Nespresso coffee maker. This cozy boutique hotel made my stay feel personal and comfortable. I’d gladly recommend it.
