The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. It’s a quiet restaurant with a simple but beautiful decor, close to the center of San Miguel Allende. The location is great, and the staff are friendly and provide excellent service.

The hotel's location is convenient, but the third-floor room we got was badly neglected and dusty all over. The sheets were dirty, there was hair on the pillows, and food scraps were left on the bed. We had asked for the room to be ready half an hour early, and they refused, saying they were still cleaning it. It was clear that hadn’t happened. I wouldn’t recommend that room.

The architecture is beautiful, but the juice was awful. I ordered beet juice and got water with just a little beet in it. Maybe they thought I wouldn’t notice. It felt like they were mocking tourists. Even though I was sitting far from the restrooms, there was a smell of Pine-Sol mixed with something else. And the restrooms are absurdly cramped, with the lowest toilets and narrowest bathroom imaginable. If you’re 1.75 meters tall, you barely fit. It’s a disgrace to Relox Street. Lilliput on Relox Street. I’m never going back.

The place is excellent, but I have one small complaint. If you don’t ask for the included breakfast, don’t expect them to offer it. Please be kind to tourists, especially when the meal is already part of the price.
