Hotel Apapacho Boutique

Our guests’ rooms were all booked and their payment information had been submitted directly to Apapacho Hotel after I started the reservation for our wedding room block in January using my credit card. Then this week, guests suddenly received unexplained cancellation messages. The hotel wouldn’t take any of my calls, despite several attempts, and replied only on WhatsApp with a vague claim that “automatic cancellations” couldn’t be reversed. All the rooms were rebooked that same day, which seemed highly suspicious and unprofessional. My wedding planner went to the hotel to try to sort things out. Her strong impression was that they’d received a better offer and canceled our whole block for higher-paying guests. I find this unacceptable and the business ethics terrible. They may cancel your room without notice or accountability, so don’t trust them with your event or vacation plans. There are plenty of charming, reliable places to stay in San Miguel de Allende. Shame on you, Apapacho!

The rooftop bar felt like a personal bar, and it served the best breakfast we’ve had. The whole hotel was beautiful, and we felt extremely safe the entire time. Staff were very attentive to keeping the rooms clean. Hector, the front desk manager, was extremely friendly and helpful, and shared so much insight during our stay.

We were made to feel special and cared for in this lovely little hotel. It’s nicely done, with thoughtful touches in the rooms, and the staff were excellent. Hector, the Manager, went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and looked after. Breakfast was lovely, with excellent food on a beautiful rooftop deck. The hotel is in a pleasant spot next to Benito Juarez Park.

The staff really work hard to make your stay great, and the property is beautiful. Lupita and Juan went out of their way to help us find lunch and dinner spots, and Hector was happy to cook whatever we wanted for breakfast. The food is delicious, the rooms are beautifully decorated, and the location is great. It’s a perfect boutique hotel with a wonderful staff and ambience. We’ll definitely be back, and highly recommend it.
