The bed was really comfortable, and I liked the location. Getting to the rooms means walking through a big dining room, though. I was on the second floor and barely had any WiFi. There was little to no English spoken at the front desk, and the bathroom had black mold and other stains. One morning there was no water. The front desk first said it would be back in two hours, then told us 12:30 when we checked again. We went out at 1 and still had no water. When we got back at 4:30, a water truck was pumping into the tank, and ten minutes later the water was on. I wondered who was supposed to check the tank levels. All the rooms were without water that day because of it. I’d say this place might be worth about $50 a night.

The rooms are tucked behind a restaurant, and I had trouble finding the hotel at first because a line of people outside the restaurant blocked the way in. The rooms were okay, just small. Music played loudly across the venue for most of my stay, and the rooms had so little soundproofing that even earplugs didn't help. I wasn't allowed into the rooftop terrace bar. It closed at 11 PM, but the noise carried on until around 2 AM, so sleeping was pretty much impossible. A very strange place.

They moved us up to a master suite, which was modern, beautiful, and clean. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had a huge shower and tub. It was missing basics like washcloths, a hair dryer, an iron, dresser drawers, and a microwave, though. Staff were attentive as they could be, given that they spoke little English and we spoke very little Spanish. The setup is odd, with a restaurant beside the hotel and a rooftop nightclub above it. Techno was already blasting in both places the evening we arrived. It kept going Friday and Saturday afternoons into the early morning, then all Sunday afternoon until 7 PM. We could hear the steady beat, plus drunk young people shouting and dancing. It sucked, especially since our room was right under the club. We couldn't use the rooftop, either. It felt like a velvet rope scene, and overweight, middle-aged Americans like us weren't part of that beautiful crowd. That left us with no outdoor area or pool, so we were stuck in the room. I can't recommend Hotel Bouquet at its nightly price. Other SMA hotels are more relaxing, welcoming, and pretty.

We came for my daughter's wedding, and the hotel, rooms, staff, and rooftop lounge were all hard to beat. The location was perfect, too. We had an amazing stay and highly recommend it. THANK YOU!

The staff were really friendly and attentive, and they were patient and encouraging while we tried out our broken Spanish. The rooms and facilities are super nice, and the place is close to everything. There’s a nightclub above the hotel, so it gets pretty noisy. If you're a night owl, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here.
