Chris and Bruce made this trip special. They’re warm, kind, and generous hosts, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. The hillside property has wonderful views from the rooftop deck, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The pool was a welcome break from the heat. It’s especially handy if you’re doing business at INM, about a 15 minute walk away, and downtown is also a 15 minute walk. An Uber is around $5.

The poolside chairs are incredibly comfortable, and there are beautiful views of San Miguel. The owners were so warm and welcoming. Stay here and support this growing, diverse, loving community.

The hosts are helpful and make sure you enjoy your stay, and it’s easy to Uber around or walk to nearby restaurants and stores. I slept like a baby every night in the really comfortable beds. The pool was my favorite of any I’ve been to, with a little tree shade that was perfect for my redhead skin. It’s a refreshing, comfortable place to recharge in a great town. The end of month Social was such a fun party, with dancing and a chance to meet local people. Can’t wait to return.

We spent our final week in Mexico at La Joya Azul in San Miguel Allende after a week in Mexico City, and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The rooftop terrace was a lovely place to watch the sunset, play cards, and even dance. We could walk to everything we wanted to explore and always felt safe and welcome. The rooms were beautiful, the beds super comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped. There’s also a peaceful poolside spot and fantastic hot showers. Chris and Bruce were warm and helpful hosts. The artwork and decorating details were gorgeous. The place exceeded all our expectations, and we’re already planning to return and stay nowhere else.
