OYO Whost San Miguel De Allende

No mosquitoes at all, comfortable sheets, and an adorable child who tried to check me in before his mom arrived. Breakfast was wonderful, with a view of the hotel next door. Fair warning, the hill to get there is steep, but I got fit walking up it!

I waited outside the place for two hours to check in, even though I'd scheduled a time with the owner. The owner's friends were inside but wouldn't let me in, even after I showed one of them my booking. That friend even said it was the wrong place. They also didn't have the parking they'd claimed to offer because the friend was using it, so I had to park on the street. The place wasn't clean, the staff were rude, and the hot water didn't work. Go somewhere else.

There may be no curfew, but the neighbors are incredibly disrespectful. They're shouting, slamming doors, and stomping around. They got home at 3:30am and still wouldn't quiet down. I'm writing this at 4:30 in the morning, and the noise is unbearable. We need to be up at 7am, and neither of us can sleep.

The mixed dorm let a couple have sex, and I ended up sleeping on the couch all night. The distance from town feels impossible, and they only take cash. I don't recommend it. Beware!
