Sanma Hotel

This was our worst experience in Mexico. We didn't get the room we'd booked. Instead, we were given a small, dirty, unsafe room where neither the main door nor the bathroom door could actually be locked. When we told reception this wasn't right, the two people responsible laughed about it and didn't speak English. We asked them to come see the problems, but they told us to leave and refunded us. The next morning, they charged our credit card. It felt like a scam and showed a complete lack of decency and professionalism. Avoid this place.

The price was affordable, and the property seemed quite new while still feeling luxurious. It's close to the center and restaurants, and the staff were very kind and made sure we were comfortable. We were very happy with our stay and highly recommend it.

For me, this is a three-star hotel, not a five-star one. The rooms are very small. Its location is good, so one night would be fine, but the rates shown online were different from what they offered in person. In my experience they weren't honest, and I won't be back.
