The dive shop on site was great, and being right by the ocean was a nice bonus. I picked this place as a budget stay, and it had the basics I need when I'm diving: a comfortable bed, AC, hot shower, and mini fridge. The pool was good too, though the food and drinks were overpriced. The downtown shops and restaurants are an easy walk, and the ferry is about 12 minutes away. I'll leave the dive shop a separate review. What spoiled it for me was the music. Every day by the pool felt like a techno rave. I'm in my 40s, and most guests seemed to be 40 or older too, but nobody seemed to enjoy the obnoxiously loud music all day. It killed the relaxed beach atmosphere. A nearby place also played loud music until 2-3am, keeping my husband and a few people we spoke with awake. I wouldn't stay again because of the noise. The lobby staff were nice but not especially friendly or helpful. There was no coffee offered or coffee maker in the room, and no hair dryers.

The sea breeze and sound at night were lovely, and all the rooms have an ocean view. There isn't a beach, though the swimming hole was nice, even if it was roped off most of the time we were there. At check-in, they charged us an extra $30 despite the reservation being prepaid, saying it was a credit card fee. The charge was in pesos, as if guests wouldn't notice. WiFi only worked in the lobby, with no access in the rooms or outside. The place seemed more geared toward walk-in customers than hotel guests. Music played loudly all day, and people at the bar were rowdy, going in and out of the pool.

Loved the ocean-view room, and the snorkeling was great. There's a pool with a swim-up bar, plus a restaurant discount. Amazing, what more could you want? Thanks, guys!

Right on the ocean, with a place to swim, a pool area, and a restaurant. It's an older hotel but was clean, and the staff were great everywhere. It has a real Mexican feel and made for a lovely stay. I'd come back.

The No name bar restaurant attached to the hotel was horrible. Service was awful, and the manager was a complete jerk. My fajitas arrived cold and the beef was rubbery. They wouldn't take it off the bill, and the manager argued with me when I raised the issue. I had to hunt down the server. Overpriced crap.
